The clock is ticking to Nuremberg’s annual SPS IPC Drives trade fair, one of the most important international events related to automation products and components in the industry, showcasing the latest trends. This year, Ingeteam will present its new additions in the INGEDRIVE™ speed converter family, highlighting the main features of the new ranges that have been launched in 2017. Ingeteam will also present its solutions for energy storage (BESS) and energy compensation (STATCOM) as well as its automation solutions and condition monitoring systems known as INGESYS™ CMS.

Ingeteam is collaborating in a research and development project with the University of the British Columbia (UBC) in the field of improving the efficiency of ball mills using variable speed. The preliminary results of this project have been successfully presented to the major engineering businesses in Vancouver specialising in the field of mineral processing. These companies includeHATCH, FLOUR, AMEC - FW, AUSENCO and TETRA TECH. The operation took place in two different mines, situated in British Colombia, Canada. In the first part of the project, a significantly large quantity of minerals was collected and in the second part, the mineral samples were studied at UBC premises. With the results, the UBC team could develop models and simulations which show the benefits obtained by using speed converters, both in relation to performance and to specific energy. TTO - Ông Phạm Ngọc Nghị, chủ tịch UBND tỉnh Đắk Lắk, cho biết trong 18 dự án điện năng lượng mặt trời đã đồng ý chủ trương thì có 4 dự án rất lớn với tổng mức đầu tư nhiều tỉ USD sẽ là niềm hy vọng mới của kinh tế Đắk Lắk. Theo ông Nghị, ngày 13-7-2017, HĐND tỉnh Đắk Lắk ban hành nghị quyết thông qua bốn dự án điện năng lượng mặt trời của 4 nhà đầu tư Công ty cổ phần đầu tư Long Thành, Tập đoàn Xuân Thiện Ninh Bình, Tập đoàn TH True Milk và Tập đoàn AES (Hoa Kỳ) với tổng diện tích 7.494 ha đất rừng trên địa bàn huyện Ea Súp. Đến nay do nhu cầu phát triển kinh tế - xã hội của tỉnh, hiện nay phát sinh thêm nhiêu dự án có triển vọng, cần bổ sung để các cấp có thẩm quyền phê duyệt. Theo đó, sau khi rà soát các dự án điện mặt trời trên địa bàn tỉnh có thêm 14 dự án đã xác định được diện tích, tính khả thi cao đến năm 2020 (cả ở Ea Súp và Buôn Đôn).
